This seminar will discuss and provide an update with respect to tax issues and reporting issues associated with the Affordable Care Act. The session will go into detail on outstanding matters regarding the individual shared responsibility tax and the premium tax. The session will also cover
- continued reporting requirements by employers
- obligations and benefits for small employers
- amendments to the Affordable Care Act by recent legislation passed by Congress and signed into law by the President including the Tax Cuts and Job Act
Course Objective(s): Participants will understand recent updates regarding tax issues & reporting issues related to, and recent amendments to the Affordable Care Act.
Prerequisites: The method of presentation is group-live instruction and the program level is overview/update. There are no prerequisites for this course nor is there any advanced preparation required.
