Job 1 - Global Financial Planning and Analysis Manager / Director

Frost & Sullivan is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager / Director in San Antonio, TX. The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is responsible for being an objective and strategic financial partner, leading collaborative cross-functional financial analysis, budgeting and forecasts supporting key business decisions at a global level.  

Responsibilities

  • Leads and aligns financial forecasts and long range planning processes with our business leaders.
  • Manages annual budget processes, incorporating business initiatives, economic trends and operational effectiveness. Aligns budget to business strategies and gains alignment from business partners.
  • Analyzes business trends to identify various opportunities to improve financial performance.
  • Drives business value by providing financial and analytical analysis to facilitate decision-making around strategic business initiatives.
  • Prepares monthly financial reporting package including variance and financial statement analysis.
  • Creates financial models and scenarios as a key input for business planning decisions in areas such as capital deployment, sourcing, product development, marketing strategies, and acquisitions.
  • Communicates a cohesive and concise story around business drivers behind financial data and potential implications on future results in order to drive business decisions.
  • Performs customer and product profitability analysis.
  • Identifies and executes upon process improvement opportunities. Demonstrates proficiency of technical tools and financial systems.
  • Partner with Global Controller for external audit.
  • Manage and deliver external financial reporting for investors and banking partners.
  • Lead and coordinate financial systems with IT.
  • Key partner on new system implementations.
  • Manages department operations and leads globally dispersed employees.
  • Interacts with employees at across the organization including senior management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, CPA is a plus.
  • 8+ years’ relevant experience with a global organization.
  • Prior experience leading and motivating employees.
  • NetSuite and Adaptive Insights experience preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills, a must.
  • Excellent communicator, written and verbal.

Job 2 - Financial Systems Manager

  Frost & Sullivan is growing its finance department and adding a Financial Systems Manager in San Antonio, TX who is looking to make an immediate impact. You will play a key role in creating, implementing, and overseeing out financial systems. You will also develop and create financial reporting and proactive actionable metrics that can help drive the strategy of the business. This position will work closely with the global finance, accounting and leadership teams to compile, consolidate, and analyze data to support decision-making and executive presentations. This position will also serve as the expert in our new Netsuite Global ERP, analyzing, developing and documenting company requirements and translating those requirements into automated solutions to solve business issues and/or needs. You will partner with stakeholders to lead, plan, and execute business system initiatives across the global business units. Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of NetSuite and Adaptive Insights financial systems – continually creating and suggesting ways to maximize logic and efficiencies within the tool
  • Execute implementation of systems, associated processes, and change management across the global organization
  • Advise leadership on potential business impact of new technologies and systems towards improving efficiencies and/or strengthen internal controls
  • Creation and optimization of monthly financial reporting, constantly looking for new metrics and ways of enhancing the reporting
  • Work with internal stakeholders to analyze complex needs and define best practices to translate business requirements into functional system processes
  • Ensure clear and complete documentation of procedures, processes
  • Create & maintain training materials and facilitate NetSuite end-user global training

  • Perform functional configuration and enhancements, system maintenance and business process testing for NetSuite maintenance, which includes managing custom fields, forms, records, workflows, searching and reporting, and user roles to support business requirements

  Frost & Sullivan is seeking a Collections Specialist in San Antonio, TX. On a daily basis the Collections Specialist will be responsible for but not limited to the following job duties: Business to Business Collections (Construction Collection Highly preferred but not required). Partner with sub-contractors, clients and vendors with a sense of urgency in order to collect on past due accounts. Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with Company policies. Communicate with customers for payments due. Operate with a high degree of accuracy and demonstrate the ability to consistently meet deadlines. Experienced in the service industry or related industry. Responsibilities:

  • The duties of a Collections Specialist include collection calls and/or correspondence in a fast paced goal oriented collections department
  • Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process customer refunds, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos

Qualifications:

  • Supervise general accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable staff including up to five direct reports
  • Analyze consolidated (US and Canada) monthly, quarterly and annual financial information
