Join the San Antonio CPA Society to give back in our community this November.

As part of CPA Month of Service, SACPAS members, family, friends and supporters will fan out across the community to volunteer at these nonprofit organizations:

Sunday, November 4, 10 am-2 pm

Haven for Hope Community Kitchen

700 Perez St, SAT 78207

(Ages 15 and up w/adult chaperone)

Under the supervision of the San Antonio Food Bank, prepare and serve lunch for Haven for Hope residents as they overcome homelessness. Clean up and other duties as needed. Hair nets, aprons and gloves provided. Closed-toe shoes required.


Friday, November 9, 1-4 pm

Morgan’s Wonderland Park Beautification¬†

(Ages 14 and up w/adult supervision)

Outdoor activities may include park beautification, landscaping, cleaning picnic areas and sanitizing play equipment, designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages and abilities. Morgan’s Wonderland is the world’s first amusement park accessible to all. Cleaning supplies provided; bring hat, sunscreen, work gloves and wear closed-toe shoes.


Friday, November 16, 1-3 pm

Daily Bread Ministries Warehouse

3559 Belgium Ln, SAT 78219

(ages 13 and up w/adult chaperone)

Indoor activities in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse may include sorting, packing and distributing donated food items to Daily Bread Ministries’ food bank distribution partners, who serve food-insecure families and individuals within the larger community. Jacket/coat/gloves suggested; closed-toe shoes required.

SACPAS will distribute our new logo-embroidered caps onsite at each venue to the first 25 volunteers who attend, as our thank-you for participating.
