WHAT IS JR. DUEL?
Since 2008, the San Antonio CPA Society has offered area high school students the opportunity to participate in a financial literacy program teaching basic financial principals. Over the past 10 years, more than 5,500 students from 15 San Antonio high schools have participated in the competition. The San Antonio CPA Society partners with the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, TX, San Antonio branch to deliver a Financial Literacy Program, Building Wealth to high school students in San Antonio. The program is available to San Antonio area high schools.

WHEN IS JR. DUEL IN OL’ SAN ANTONIO?
September through December – Teachers teach the program with support from CPA and CFP volunteers.
January – a case study is given to the participating students and requires a written presentation.
February – Finalists are selected to go to competition at the Federal Reserve Bank.
Late winter/early spring – Oral presentations by the finalists are presented before a panel of 5 judges and prizes are awarded.
